Research Philosophy
The Institute is designed as a complete research institution — independent of any specific AI product. Research programs may be admitted after the institution is built; they do not define its architecture.
Guiding principles
Institution first
Evidence, datasets, experiments, publications, and laboratory procedures are institutional concerns. Products wait outside. If the Institute never shipped a named product, the campus would still make sense as a place for scientific work.
Evidence before spectacle
Measurement, benchmarks, and review discipline shape conclusions. The Institute does not substitute spectacle for evaluation or marketing pressure for findings.
Published versus working knowledge
The public experiences what the Institute has intentionally communicated. Unfinished work and operational records remain inside the Institute Campus. Publication projects the scientific record; the Public Campus projects published communications.
Ownership and accountability
Stewardship, custody, and accountable publication protect scientific integrity. Authority is held by the Institute — not implied by a website visit.
